This report presents the synopsis of the consultation activities undertaken in view of the EU policy framework on biobased plastics (BBP) and biodegradable and compostable plastics (BDCP). In line with the Better Regulation requirements, this report provides an outline of the consultation strategy, documents the consultation activities undertaken, and describes the results of each consultation activity. The objective of this consultation process was to ensure the involvement of a wide range of stakeholders in the development of the policy framework. In accordance with the Better Regulation Guidelines and their general principles, the consulting team developed a consultation strategy for the stakeholder consultation process ensuring an efficient and effective consultation approach.
