As the representative of public transport operators and authorities, UITP aims at organising an exhibition to showcase the benefits of public transport for regions and cities.
Promoting public transport and active mobility is key to achieve the EU Green Deal’s objectives and will also contribute to many EU social and economic goals.
Last year, we launched a campaign with key statistics on the positive impact of investing in public transport (see here).

We will now create an exhibition based on the campaign to highlight the role of public transport in providing sustainable and affordable mobility to all, but also in empowering the economy and making cities more liveable.
Our idea is to have an exhibition at Brussels Schuman station and move the exhibition to other places around the EU area during the EU Green Week. We will produce materials based on our public transport benefits campaign (banners, posters, video, postcards, flyers, ,…) and aim to interact with decision-makers and citizens.
