In the period from May 30 to June 4, 2022, in 12 cities where NARNS has its network of City parent-teacher clubs throughout Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Kikinda, Sabac, Zrenjanin, Nis, Loznica, Leskovac, Kraljevo, Novi Pazar and Secanj), daily events will be realized through workshops and lectures. These workshops will be held by pupils/students from primary and secondary schools, who will prepare lectures on specific topics together with their teachers and parents and will deliver them to teachers and parents. Each event will last one hour and it will be held in schools for minimum 20 participants and also participants from other cities will be able to follow other workshops online. In this way, young people will be activated to find adequate written material in their textbooks or other literature, which will serve as preparation for lectures or workshops with their parents and teachers. Placing young people in the role of leaders in each activity provides an opportunity to develop environmental awareness, which will make real every further idea they might have and develop the right attitude towards the space in which they live.
The plan of our work includes holding lectures and workshops in two cities at the same time for one hour, on the following topics:
1. Novi Sad: Climate change in Europe - Monday, 30 May from 11.00
2. Subotica: Planting vegetables in the school garden - Monday, 30 May from 12.00
3. Kikinda: Wind and energy - Tuesday, 31 May from 11.00
4. Sabac: Wild vegetation of our region - Tuesday, 31 May from 12.00
5. Zrenjanin: The quality of drinking water in our city-Wednesday, 1 June from 11.00
6. Nis: Medicinal herbs from our region - Wednesday, 1 June from 12.00
7. Loznica: Our rivers - Thursday, 2 June from 11.00
8. Leskovac: Hydropower plants - Thursday, 2 June from 12.00
9. Secanj: The world according to my will and the flower in it-art workshop - Friday, 3 June from 11.00
10. Belgrade: Energy efficiency in Belgrade schools - Friday, 3 June from 12.00
11. Kraljevo: Mushrooms as part of our diet - Saturday, 4 June from 11.00
12. Novi Pazar: Forests that grow together with us.-Saturday, 4 June from 12.00
