The event discusses the need to integrate data analytics in agriculture in order to respond to current and future challenges of the worldwide food and wine industry. This would entail intensifying the production in a sustainable way, reducing negative environmental externalities and promoting local economic growth.
The main objective of the webinar is to showcase the use of data analytics in technical solutions developed for agriculture to make it more sustainable by reducing the usage of raw materials, water, and chemical fertilisers and pesticides. This would help move towards healthier food products and greener agriculture practices for the environment, contributing to the European Green Deal goals.
