The World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June, every year, since 1974. It became an important date to improve and give visibility to environmental causes. The United Nations and other associations and enterprises choose this day to promote global events in defense of the environmental cause with the aim of sensibilizing more and more people to take action. This year, Portal of Architecture and Sustainable Construction decided to join this powerful date and organize, an open morning.
The European Green Deal wants a climate neutral Europe by 2050. To achieve the decarbonisation and fulfill the European Climate Law, it is urgent to decrease the emissions in all sectors and construction has a huge role on this global change. That is why Portal of Architecture and Sustainable Construction, believes and invests in free actions to informe and educate municipalities and universities about sustainabiluty in construction.
