Project Lead EU Nature Restoration
Kristela Toskaj is an environmental engineer, with a Master on Environmental Sciences from University of Cologne, Germany.
She is specialized in working at the science-policy interface on the area of ecosystem conservation and management.
Parallel with her engagement at CITES - The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, she has been leading the EU Nature Restoration Project, a collaboration of World Wildlife Fund and Youth and Environment Europe.
In her everyday life, she is passionate about sustainability and has been organizing educational workshops towards zero waste lifestyle and combating food waste in her communities.
