With a background in Public International Law and International Relations, Marianne Chagnon is Programme Officer at Young European Leadership (YEL) a volunteer-based youth organisation which aims to inspire and enable young leaders from all backgrounds to shape their own future and the future of Europe.

They organise events and participate in European projects to promote youth participation and raise awareness on contemporary issues such as climate change and the SDGs.

Marianne Chagnon also works as Senior Policy Officer at EuropeActive, a European organisation that works on physical activity as part of health promotion and disease prevention strategies, aiming to encourage individuals to be more active, more often, for their health and wellbeing.

For this role, she also works on topics related to green sport as well as active mobility for sustainable lifestyles.
