Member of the European Parliament
Martin Hojsík has been fighting for human health and the protection of nature and animals for over 25 years.
He has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2019, working to avert the climate threat, protect biodiversity and animals and to regulate hazardous chemicals.
As an active MEP, he serves on tree committees – ENVI (Environment, Public Health and Food Safety), ITRE (Industry, Research and Energy) and BUDG (Budget).
He is currently the rapporteur for POPs Regulation and the shadow rapporteur for LULUCF Regulation.
In the past, he initiated Resolution on Soil Protection in the European Parliament and had been working on review of Aarhus Regulation, Taxonomy Regulation or Resolution on an EU Strategy to Reduce Methane. He is the EP´s official contact point for the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
