New European green funding guide to support zero pollution

The Vademecum on EU Funding Programmes for the environment was published by the European Commission in July 2022, supporting investment in Zero Pollution solutions.

The new guide (Vademecum) for EU Funding Programmes for the environment is targeted at public and private project promoters who wish to implement projects supporting the EU Green Deal and who seek EU funding. It will support investment in Zero Pollution solutions.

The guide describes in detail 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) funding programmes and instruments. The guide aims at facilitating funding applications.

The guide contains insights on the strategic choice of a funding programme; the management of different programmes; and the options for financial assistance.

Recordings of the online conferences

On behalf of DG Environment and in cooperation with the regional authorities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France; four Vademecum online conferences have been organized with the support of Ricardo, Trinomics and OIR.  Online conference provided insights into EU funding and financing opportunities for projects focusing on circular economy, nature and land use and biodiversity. Conferences gathered a wide range of stakeholders including environmental organisations, public authorities, NGOs, academic institutions, SMEs to gain a comprehensive understanding of EU funding.
