“We are the seeds of our future - it’s our job to nurture change.”

Sondos is an advocate for inclusive education, gender equality, and community empowerment through the arts. As a Program Officer at IREX and a seasoned STEAM facilitator, she merges science, technology, and creativity to engage youth in civic life and climate action.

She firmly believes that we are the seeds of our future—it is our responsibility to nurture change.

One of her key areas of focus is cultural programming - creating festivals, workshops, and spaces where discarded materials are reborn as art.

Her work shows how circularity can be a powerful cultural force, not just an environmental one.

🎭 Sondos’s tips from the field

  1. Use art as a platform – turn waste into community stories and shared experiences.
  2. Facilitate circular thinking – build workshops where young people explore repair and reuse creatively.
  3. Rethink materials – what’s “trash” today could be tomorrow’s stage backdrop.
  4. Connect people through process – circularity is a mindset and a community builder.

Sondos is part of the"#OurVoiceOurFuture" community, a global network of young changemakers and content creators, ensuring that EU policies are inclusive, relevant, and aligned with the aspirations of the younger generation.

The community of #OurVoiceOurFuture young allies collaborate on shared principles and interests, contributing their voices to crucial areas such as defending Human Rights, security, peace building, and global and climate diplomacy.
