Description
The Smart AMVISA 2025 project marks the initial phase in digitalising the integrated water cycle. This initiative falls within Policy Plan 2, focused on “Resilient Infrastructure and Ecosystems”, under Component 5, dedicated to “Coastal Preservation and Water Resources”. The initiative focuses on enhancing water resource management to strengthen water policy, aligning with the strategic priorities set by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
Results (achieved or expected)
The project improved flood prevention through upgraded infrastructure and strategic water management practices. It advanced the digitalisation of water management, facilitating efficient data analysis and informed decision-making. Enhanced weather surveillance enabled accurate forecasting and timely interventions, while improved precipitation monitoring supported adaptive management. Additionally, a georeferenced web platform was developed.
