As part of the upcoming Apply AI Strategy, the Commission is organising an online workshop to investigate potential application areas of AI for Environment & Sustainability. Application providers and end-users will join DG CNECT and DG ENV representatives to discuss AI applications and identify sector-specific challenges that might require action from the European Commission.
The outcomes of the workshop will be summarised in final sector-specific reports and will be combined with OECD or other reports to inform the state-of-play of AI adoption in the sector and serve as a basis for the high-level political meetings and for the further development of the Apply AI Strategy.
