The EU Ecolabel - the official European Union label of environmental excellence, which contributes to the clean and circular economy with a zero-pollution ambition for a toxic-free environment – has now reached the highest ever registered number of awarded products, despite COVID-19 and Brexit.
Consumers can now choose among more than 83 000 EU Ecolabel products across Europe, with the vast majority of EU Ecolabel product groups having witnessed, over the past six months, an increase in both the number of licences and products Highest increments have been registered for Tourist Accommodation Services, Textiles and Tissue Paper.
